One of the IGC's workshop proposals this year has been a follow-up to
last year's successful workshop on the role and mandate of the IGF.
Amongst the purposes of the workshop, quoting from the proposal, are to:
* review how the IGF has fared till now vis-à-vis its TA mandate, and
whether any structure and/or substance corrections are needed for the
remaining part of its initial 5 year mandate; and
* consider what are the emerging views on post-2010 arrangements for
the IGF.
The proposal has otherwise been complete for some time but the
organisers have experienced some delay in sorting out speakers and co-
sponsors. If you have suggestions for either, it would be appreciated
if you could contact me off-list in the first instance, either with
your suggestions or to request to be added to the organisers' mailing
list.
Many thanks.
