Dear All

 

This is to commence the process of co-coordinator elections. I am sending
out the email as given at the end of this email to all those who are
subscribed to the IGC mailing list. Out of the members list so prepared,
those who have been on the list for 2 month prior to June 30th will be
included in the voters' list. I will give 21 days to list participants to
respond, after which the voters list will be prepared. The elections will be
held in the week starting 14th July. The two candidates for the elections
are David Goldstein and Ian Peter, to whom I apologize for this
extra-ordinary delay in holding the elections, which was mostly due to some
complications regarding preparing a voters list.

Dear IGC List Participant

 

We are preparing a list of members of the Internet Governance Caucus as per
its Charter ( http://www.igcaucus.org/IGC-charter_final-061014.html ). The
charter defines members as " individuals, acting in personal capacity, who
subscribe to the charter of the caucus". We request you to go through the
charter and if you are willing to subscribe to it indicate so in reply to
this email. 

 

You may reply within 3 weeks of receiving this email to get your name in the
members list. The list of course remains open for any new subscription, at
all times. However, the list generated at the end of 3 weeks, seen together
with the condition that the member need to be subscribed to the IGC email
list for 2 months prior to that date, will be used to prepare the voting
list for voting for our new co-coordinator.
