Is the OLPC only for Americans or is there going to be a roll-out to other parts of the world, Africa, to be specific?

I'd have been very happy to join the "give one get one" promotion and 
pay for two OLPCs, donate one and receive the other - I'd be happy to 
study it and understand how to promote the development of free, 
independent applications for it. Unfortunately the promotion was only 
available to North Americans :-(
