Dear Asif,

Thank you for your note.  However, because your message may be  
misunderstood by the membership, I wanted to quickly clarify a couple  
of things.  First, the election is obviously still ongoing, and as  
stated will not end until 24h00 on Sunday.  Second, no information  
about the status of the elections has been released to anyone, except  
a regular update on the number of votes casts to Ian.

We wish all of the candidates the best of luck in the remainder of the  
elections.
