Internet Governance policies and practices can play a major role in
promoting and shaping participatory and inclusive mechanisms for democratic
practices. It also can deeply contribute to the empowerment of various
groups and communities, at the local, national, regional and international
level. This workshop will further explore ways to improve how Internet
Governance policies and practices could promote the use of the Internet by
all users to increase their ability to participate in public debates and
policy processes and to benefit from empowerment.
