As well, a  chance also to say hello all,

And if assuming were safe and sage, I'd assume that being on an appeal team
would mean one had served on a nomcom first.  But not necessarily ("never
assume") so please add me to list of those interested in the appeal team,
have done a lot of appeal work in other venues.
