[bestbits] Fwd: [IGFmaglist] Call for issues

Hello all,

This year the IGF will be following a EuroDIG style approach of
initially calling for issues around which sessions can be organized,
before calling for workshop proposals. If a call for workshop proposals
is made first, organizers have to prepare their proposal without any
guidance about priority issues for the community.

It has been a successful approach at EuroDIG and I have supported trying
it for the global IGF too, as it will allow for better curation of the
final program and help to avoid the lack of focus and duplication that
has characterised previous IGFs.

Please find the Secretariat's message and link below.
