Hi everybody--I'll miss seeing all of you in Geneva, but I'll join you
online.

ART at IGF will be an exciting new feature at the IGF this year. I think you
will enjoy this interlude that visually examines and inspires IG issues. I
suggest you try to join the launch on Monday, or if not, take a walk when
you need to re-energise your IG mind and spirit.

Have a great IGF!
Ginger

INVITATION

You are cordially invited to the opening of *ART at IGF*
<https://giplatform.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=4fd1ca1d5793b4d797ce48eb0&id=ea1d36429a&e=e702958673>,
an exhibition exploring the issues of digital policy through digital
art. The event will take place on Monday, 18th December, at 14h, at
the Palais des Nations, Geneva.

For the first time in the history of the IGF, the programme will
incorporate an art exhibition, connecting digital policy, art, and
technology professionals.

The *ART at IGF*

interactive
exhibition will use a subway map as a journey metaphor to explore the
various Internet governance topics (infrastructure, security, human rights,
etc.).
As they follow the lines, visitors will arrive at subway stations where
digital artists will display their interpretations of the core digital
policy issues of the day, such as data privacy and copyright. Some of these
stations will belong to one subway line, but most will mark transfer
points; the security, economic, and legal lines will intersect at the
encryption stop, for example.

If you are interested to know how artists view issues such as access or
telecommunications infrastructure, come visit *ART at IGF <ART at IGF>*. Guided
tours will be organised every day during lunchtime to help navigate the
exhibition, located on the first floor of building E.

The exhibition will be up from *18 to 21 December 2017*.
