[bestbits] ITU PP-18 Civil Society Coordination Meeting @ IGF

Hi everyone,

Now that there's less than one year before the ITU's major program
planning meeting, the 2018 Plenipotentiary Conference (PP-18), we'd like
to take the opportunity to organize a preliminary civil society
coordination meeting later this month to begin discussing our respective
strategies, share perspectives and experiences from past ITU meetings,
and begin collaborating on shared objectives.   

The meeting will be held at the IGF in Geneva later this month. It will
take place from *14.00-16.00 on Tuesday, December 19 in Room E.3023
(Building E) at the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG)*. There,
ARTICLE 19 will be joined by Global Partners Digital, Public Knowledge,
Access Now, and the Association for Progressive Communications (APC). We
welcome all civil society organizations that are interested in engaging
at the ITU--and especially those that are considering participation at
PP-18--to join us. If you're interested in attending the meeting but are
not able to attend IGF this year, please reply to this email to indicate
your interest in remote participation facilities.
