Dear all,

As you may remember, this time last year, on 16 December, UNGA adopted the
outcome document
<http://workspace.unpan.org/sites/Internet/Documents/UNPAN95735.pdf> for
the overall review of the implementation of the outcomes of the World
Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). Although there were clear
obstacles to civil society engagement, not least the limited resources and
time-frame available, CS engagement helped to shape the outcome of this UN
process. As part of our case study series, Advocacy Bytes
<http://www.gp-digital.org/series/advocacy-bytes/>, we are happy to launch
the latest case study on the WSIS+10 Review
<http://www.gp-digital.org/series/advocacy-bytes/the-wsis10-review/>.

Advocacy Bytes is a tool to help civil society engage more effectively in
internet governance forums. It functions as an experience bank or record of
case studies of civil society groups engaging in internet governance
processes, in order to help support more strategic and effective civil
society engagement in the future. In June, we launched the first case-study
on the ITU Plenipot (2014)

We hope that this second case-study on the WSIS+10 Review is a helpful
resource in supporting effective civil society engagement in internet
governance processes, with relevance beyond the WSIS process itself.

Should you have any questions or feedback on the case study or the series,
please do get in touch!

Best,
--
