Hi all,
Just wanted to flag that an interesting report
<http://www.gp-digital.org/gpd-update/new-report-on-transparency-in-government-data-requests/>
has just been published by working group 3 of the Freedom Online Coalition.
The report investigates transparency processes in government requests to
ICT companies for user information and content restriction, analysing
analyses how both actors disclose information about law enforcement -- with
a particular focus on national security requests.
This blog post summarises the key findings. <http://bit.ly/1N9aToz>
Read the full report here. <http://bit.ly/1k4Y2gA>
It should be an interesting read for anyone engaged in transparency and
privacy debates.
Best,
Jonathan
