It's something that I missed streaming a couple of weeks back, that I've reconstructed from the zoom. Two great presentations, fantastic projects. What's notable is that a) the ISOC Foundation is showing broader scope than the Internet Society itself, and encouraging Chapters to do the same, b) in the case of Zimbabwe, a combined Beyond the Net and a research project has enough clout to sway the country's policy on e-waste, c) in the case of Serbia, a DIY open hardware project shows promise of scaling widely, while providing hard data for activists, and also giving the chapter a high profile. </div><div class="gmail_quote"><div class="gmail_default"></div><br><u></u>
