GOMIX is the 3rd IXP in DRC, after the launch of the Lubumbashi Internet eXchange point (LUBIX) in Lubumbashi and the existing KINIX in Kinshasa. GOMIX will play a major role in enabling exchange of Internet traffic and help bring faster and more reliable Internet access in the eastern part of DRC, where the 4 million people in towns of Beni, Bukavu, Butembo and Kindu are served.</p>
