The IGF Sri Lanka 2016 is an initiative developed by <strong><a style="text-decoration:underline;color:#2585b2" href="http://isoc.lk/language/en/">ISOC Sri Lanka</a></strong>, the <strong><a style="text-decoration:underline;color:#2585b2" href="http://www.igfsa.org/">IGFSA</a></strong> , with the <strong><a style="text-decoration:underline;color:#2585b2" href="http://www.mtdi.gov.lk/">Ministry of Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure</a></strong> and many more stakeholders.The main goal is to allow the voice of people to be heard by policy makers on the issues related to Internet Governance and to help people to take an active part in the decision-making processes. Particular attention is paid to the participation of people from vulnerable groups and those with fewer opportunities for better social inclusion.
