years of age and work with the National Information Technology Agency, Ghana as
a specialization engineer in E-government and infrastructure, Internet
Governance and Open Government Data, platforms and policies. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">I holds the position of IT
Manager and Technical Lead person for Ghana Open Data Initiative Project and
also lecture part time at the Ghana Telecom University College (Centre for
Professional Development Unit). I was the immediate past Vice General Secretary
of the Internet Society Ghana Chapter and currently the National Secretariat
Manager of the Information Technology Association of Ghana (ITAG) and also
serve as the Secretary (ex-officio) to the Executive Management Committee of
which Prof Nii Quaynor is the Chair and President. I have being involve in the
IT Industry for over 10 years in areas of ICT Policy development, Internet
Governance, Open Government Data, Software Design and Development, Databases
and Consolidation, Open Source Software Technologies, Data Divide Privacy and
Security, Big Data and analytics, Data Management and technologies, and Human
Resource Planning and Development and also consult to many local organisations
and has contributed to several ICT projects across Ghana and Abroad.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">I am a very passionate advocate
for free open Internet, open government data and open source software
technologies. Besides, I have been associated with ICANN as Fellow, coach
(mentor) and ICANN Information Booth Lead and Support Staff since ICANN
49,<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>and have gotten fellowship for 4
meetings out of the last 7 meetings held (ICANN 49, 52, and 54, 55). I have
participated, attended and contributed to several Local and international
programs such as IGF, ISOC, IETF, ITU, World Bank, The Growth Net of India,
USAID, UNDP, Africa Open Data Conference, International Open Data Conference
and West Africa Telecommunications Regulators Assembly (WTRA). </p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">I am an active member of the Open
Government Data Working Group, World Bank Africa Open Data working Team, Non

Society (ISOC), Diplo Foundation, Global Open Data for Agriculture and
Nutrition (GODAN), Ghana IGF Steering Committee, Ghana Open Government
Partnership Steering Committee, Linux Accra User Group and does follows several
internet governance and Open government data online and mailing list
discussions.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">I have help and organize several
workshop programs on Internet governance related issues, Open Government Data and
community engagement development and incubation, Cyber Security and Online
Child protection, including the IANA Stewardship transition, ICANN community
engagement of which the ICANN Vice President for Africa Pierre Dandjinou and
Yaovi Atohoun on several occasion took part. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">I was one of organisers at the
2015 IGF Workshop in Joao Pessoa, Brazil on the topic Internet Governance and
Open Government Data Initiative of which the report is readily available on the
IGF website. The reason for this workshop was to bring to the attention of IGF,
Policy Makers and the general public the linkages between Internet governance
and Open Government Data of which policy makers should start considering in the
formulation of internet and open data related policies that will help to large
extent in the achievement of the Sustainable development goals (SDG’s) adopted
by the United Nations.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">I am currently the founder of the
newly formed African Open Data and Internet Governance Research Foundation

Antes de haber sido elegida como co-coordinadora el año pasado, no tenía conocimiento alguno de las personas que me han votado para desempeñar ese rol, y no soy de las que se caraterizan por aplaudir y menos sobornar (jajaja en Argentina no tenemos plata para eso) por lo cual dictaminar sin fundamento que es antidemocrático o solamente por amiguismo me parece que no tiene fundamento. Los invito a proponerse como co-coordinadores este año ya que es una interesante experiencia de networking y sociedad civil.<br>
La autonominación consiste simplemente es enviar un mail, señalar su background y porqué les gustaría ser parte del IGC, si tienen dudas o pregutnas con gusto les responderé para animarlos a postular.<br>

I would add from my own experience the need for patience, tact, common<br>
sense and a fair amount of time. Because the coordinators need to be neutral<br>
it is also necessary sometimes to abstain from taking part in exciting<br>
discussions.<br>
<br>
The IGC face to face meeting in Joao Pessoa was small but active with<br>
proposals for changes coming from Arsene and Renata. Sonigitu had also<br>
indicated that he had suggestions, but unfortunately missed the meeting.<br>
These ideas will be issues for discussion this year.<br>
<br>
I'd like to use this opportunity to say a preliminary thank you to all of<br>
you who have supported and helped me during the course of these two years.<br>
The co-coordinators owe special thanks to Jeremy who has patiently rescued<br>
us from several technical difficulties.<br>
