I was recently honored to be asked to be the (non-voting) Chair of a

Report details the selection process for nominees to the
Global Multistakeholder Meeting on the Future of the Internet
Governance (GMMFIG) to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on April
23-24, 2014. The Meeting will focus on crafting Internet
governance principles and proposing a roadmap for the further
evolution of the Internet governance ecosystem. </span></p>

Nominating Committee’s (NomCom) charge was to recommend four
candidates to participate in shaping the GMMFIC’s work. The
Nominating Committee ’s five voting members were David Nemer,
Parminder Jeet Singh, Brian Beaton, Chris Zielinski, and
Charles Dhewa. After completing a careful review of the
position requirements and candidates, the NomCom chose the
