Following up on Jacqueline's post, Facebook is indeed a private space (although some of its content is accessible publicly, depending of the privacy settings of the user) and its Terms of Service contain what she says. <div>
<br></div><div>In a certain way, it could be argued that such platforms become a sort of cross-border "digital space" or even "digital territory" and that their Terms of Service represent somehow the "Law" of that space, with important legal consequences. basic test of 'shouting "FIRE" in a crowded theatre'.<br>

So, for all of you shouting sensorship, how do you suggest that<br>
Facebook protect a young child from images that HIS PARENTS would not<br>
want him/ her to see?<br>

The last image below says "I am a slut" (in the context of the<br>
translation of "Slut Walk"/ Marcha das Vadias"). It is perfecty fine<br>
as an instrument of protest - but I doubt that woman in picture would<br>
show it to her own young children.<br>
