I also think that we should look at RP the other way round too. Currently it isn't possible to make not being physically present the same as being physically present. Therefore we at least should be clear about what are MUST HAVES and what may come later.<div>

That's often because you can't see the Powerpoint slides on the screen unless the room lights are dimmed.<br>

One solution is to have the lights on full, but expect attendees to look at the slides on their own laptops - however that brings challenges in terms of connectivity and also editing the RP video stream to include contemporaneous slide shows, or having the slide sets pre-loaded (which you really ought to be doing for the remote participants anyway).<br>
