Dear Jeremy and all,

I am honored with the nomination for the upcoming IGC co-coordinators elections.

As I got home back from the IGF Nairobi, I have received the news that I have been accepted at the PhD program starting next year. As you, Jeremy, and many others in the list have already been through a PhD program, you know that it will be time-consuming, besides my daily activities at NIC.br, PUC-SP and ISOC Brazil Chapter. So I believe that I wouldn't be able to devote the time that an IGC co-coordinator needs to give for a good job.

Therefore, please accept my sincere apologies as I decline the nomination. It's very tempting to eventually assume a more leadership role in the IGC, but I am also aware that it comes with responsibilities that I would like to commit in my full capacity and that I am unable to provide for the moment. I hope I will be able to run elections in the future, even with more challenges as it gets closer to WSIS 2015. Please consider this withdrawal as a commitment within IGC community and goals, besides the fact that I will still be around and hope to be useful for any of the candidates that will be elected.

All the best,
