President Hosni Mubarak unveiled a new cabinet on Monday with key
ministers retaining their positions.<br>
Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit and Defense Minister General Mohamed
Hussein Tantawi kept their jobs, as did the communications, justice,
energy, information and oil ministers.<br>
Interior Minister Habib al-Adly was replaced by Gen. Mahmud Wagdi and
Finance Minister Youssef Boutros-Ghali lost his position to Gawdat
el-Malt.<br>
Egypt has been engulfed in violent protests since January 25 against
Mubarak's 30-year regime, with demonstrators demanding economic and
political reforms. Some 150 people have been killed and another 4,000
have been injured, the Al-Jazeera TV channel said.<br>
