Hello all,

--Who will be at the upcoming planning meeting in Geneva (I will not)?
Are there any concerns we should bring up? Are those who are
coordinating workshops informed and satisfied with progress?

--The discussions Jeremy is facilitating are very important, and I
suggest you review them seriously to see if you would like to add to
them, so that Jeremy can draft a document from them. This however, is
not an appropriate topic for the planning meeting so does not need to
be done before then. It is very important to finish this discussion.

--The IGC will have co-coordinator elections soon, and we have not had
any substantive discussion on voting procedures--we have only discussed
discussing it. Can we please have a few volunteers to work on this
topic to update our procedures? We had some questions raised about the
last election, and we had best address them now. Derrick and Carlos
Afonso, you are both very active in other successful elections
procedures. Can you lead this work?

--We raised the possibility of a charter review. The fact that this
discussion has gone nowhere leads me to think there are no burning
issues that should be address for now. If someone is
willing/able/inspired to work on this, please let us know.

--Congratulations to those who are active in Brussels and working with
ICANN, NCUC and other issues for Civil Society. I hope we can bring
some of that dynamic productive energy to the IGC list.

Best, Ginger
