I would like to emphasize that EuroDIG is making remote participation
easily accessible and participative for the Madrid meeting. You will be
able to listen, exchange ideas with other remote participants and
submit substantive comments through remote moderators on panels. Remote
participants are invited to register on the EuroDIG site, and will be
included in meeting statistics, an important step for e-participation.<br>

I think this will be a model for us to learn from and follow. If you
are interested in the EuroDIG themes, and unable to attend, I suggest
you join us (I will be attending by remote as well).<br>

the<b> third European Dialogue on Internet Governance (EuroDIG</b>)
will take place in<b> Madrid, on 29 and 30 April 2010</b>.</font></span></p>
<p><span lang="en-gb"><font face="Verdana" size="2">This event is
being organised by the Spanish IGF (Internet Governance Forum),
including Red.es, Telefónica and Madrid City Council, with the support
of the Council of Europe, the Swiss Federal Office of Communications
(OFCOM) and a number of other stakeholders. Topics to be addressed
include the public and economic value of the Internet, “cloud
computing” and jurisdiction questions, the delivery of online content
by the private sector, new top-level domain names, privacy, network
neutrality, and the well-being of children and young people in online
environments. </font></span></p>
