<html><body><span style="font-family:Verdana; color:#000000; font-size:10pt;"><font style="font-family: Verdana;" size="2" color="#000000" face="Verdana"> The other side of the coin...<br> When one is called "hateful" for disliking the killing of babies for convenience, called "bigots" for the desire to protect our borders from massive influx of illegal aliens, especially at a time of higher unemployment and to simply honor our laws, or called <font style="text-decoration: underline;">both</font> for calling the plague of terrorism we now live with exactly what it is, Islamic Terrorism, it is easier to understand why strong emotional criticism of these people would be considered very like what they receive every day, "hate speech". <br> The west poured opium into China in huge amounts at the beginning of the 20th century and the Chinese properly labeled our society as "devils". That did not mean that every person in the west took part in the travesty, but it was only fair that when the same groups of people did the same terrible crimes over and over again that they be painted the culprits as a group, and not shy away from offending other westerners because they pointed our group out as their source of trouble. We should not run from facts by calling people who would speak them hateful. If we believe those things we do are right, why be hurt by the suggestion we do them? If they are wrong, don't attack the accuser, fix the problem. (I have a devout Muslim for a close friend and business partner. I do not call him a terrorist when I describe the problem in our world today. He stands with me, in fact, to denounce this terrorism for what it is and regrets people using the name of his faith would do what they do.) <br> Much of what is now called hate speech by the far left is legitimate expression, as well!!!<br>-Karl E.
