quick reply... Yes, if we use the term "interesting" to mean of "interest" or
"value" to the user (rather than simply "engaging to the user") then certainly
an "interesting" or "value-adding" application will generate additional
involvement and activity. An "engaging" application will also likely generate
"interest" but only until something new or more "engaging" comes
