Dear Colleagues,

Today marks the start of a week that is centred on data and knowledge. Data
can be seen as a basis to create information and develop knowledge.
Although not necessarily a linear process, data, information and knowledge
can result into wisdom and deeper insights.

The Global Knowledge for Development Conference

today and tomorrow (3-4 April) - will review and advance knowledge
management practices in the field of sustainable development. The
conference will discuss a wide range of issues including the JIU
Report on *Knowledge
Management in the United Nations System*, inaugurate the K4D Partnership,
and explore good practices in cross-sectoral knowledge management.

Zooming in from knowledge to data, DiploFoundation is organising a Roundtable
on Data Diplomacy
