As McTim says there's little or nothing at all in that decision making
process that is likely to have changed based on political and social
theories. 

Parminder, I do think you need to take that course I suggested, or read up
on some of the links McTim pointed out. They'll help clear a lot of these
doubts about non issues, that you have.
