Yup.  But that hardly means that my arguments are wrong.

If tenacity is proof that an idea is wrong, then I guess you would also 
have to say that ICANN's idea of one catholic root is also wrong.

Ultimately it comes down to this:

Where is the source of power, of legal authority, to deny existence to 
those who wish to offer competing DNS roots?

There is none.
