<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><font color="#000000">Fundação Getulio Vargas’ Rio
de Janeiro Law School – FGV DIREITO RIO is pleased to announce the third
edition of the Fellows in Rio program. The goal of the program is to support a
select group of highly qualified doctoral and post-doctoral scholars working in
areas related to the School’s research centers. The program seeks to offer
economic and intellectual resources to support insightful and promising young
legal scholars.</font></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><font color="#000000"> </font></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><font color="#000000">The fellows
participate in projects at the school’s research centers, along with developing
their own research. They receive a six-month scholarship, in the amount of R$
36,000.00 for doctoral students and R$ 45,000.00 for doctors. They will also
have the opportunity to give short courses to students, and participate in
workshops with researchers and professors.</font></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><font color="#000000">In the first edition
(2014-15), FGV Direito Rio received 162 applications, from 24 countries. In the
second edition (2015-16), FGV Direito Rio received 112 applications from 27
