<p style="margin:1em 0;padding:0;color:#606060;font-family:Helvetica;font-size:15px;line-height:150%;text-align:left">The Knight News Challenge on Elections is now <a href="http://knightfoundation.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=44a06e103b99cf80e07a2eaad&id=7f8969e380&e=61e5d1f18c" style="word-wrap:break-word;color:#6dc6dd;font-weight:normal;text-decoration:underline" target="_blank">open for applications</a>, asking people to submit ideas that address the question: <strong>How might we better inform voters and increase civic participation before, during and after elections?</strong> A collaboration between Knight, the Democracy Fund, the Hewlett Foundation and the Rita Allen Foundation, the challenge is offering more than $3 million for innovative ideas.</p>
<p style="margin:1em 0;padding:0;color:#606060;font-family:Helvetica;font-size:15px;line-height:150%;text-align:left">If you have questions about the application, you can join us for virtual office hours or in-person events in cities across the country to learn more about the News Challenge.
