Norbert Bollow - Just Net Coalition*<br></div><div><br></div><div>* added in 2014</div><div><br></div><div>Realising the need to improve the composition and processes of the group, we conducted a straw poll of our networks earlier this year, to gauge how people thought this should happen. One of the questions in that straw poll was about how the chair of the group should be selected, and the most popular choice was "Group will choose a non-voting chair themselves after a call for volunteers".</div>
<div><br></div><div>This is therefore an open call for volunteers who would be willing to nominate themselves, or suggest someone else, to chair the coordination group. If you would like more background about the purpose and composition of the group, please let me know as I can resend you the information that was provided before the straw poll.</div>
<div><br></div><div>We already have at least one nominee, but we would be pleased to receive more and you may send them on or off-list (please check with the nominee that they are willing to volunteer first). In anticipation that joint civil society nominations to IG processes will be required again soon, I request that you send any nominations within 10 days of today, ie. by Monday 25 August.
