Levi Distinguished Service Professor of Law.<br><br>Stone was one of five top-echelon experts in law and intelligence appointed by President Barack Obama to a panel charged with assessing the National Security Administration’s (NSA) overreaching surveillance policies in the wake of revelations by Edward Snowden.
